Designed specifically to prepare students for success in higher education, Academic English develops the language proficiency, academic literacy, critical thinking, research, and study skills required to thrive in a university environment. You will build the confidence to participate actively in lectures, tutorials, group discussions, presentations, and academic writing tasks.
Successful completion of Academic English provides a direct entry pathway to eligible Griffith University degree programs, Study Abroad and Exchange programs, and Griffith College courses. The program is recognised as meeting the English language proficiency requirements for entry, eliminating the need for an external English language test.
Whether English is your second language or you would like additional preparation before commencing your studies, Academic English will help you adapt to the expectations of Australian higher education and develop the skills needed to succeed both academically and professionally.
