Iglu Chatswood

Iglu Chatswood offers outstanding student-only accommodation with purpose-built student rooms within 5-bedroom student apartments. Iglu has a great blend of individual space and communal areas such as barbeques, courtyard, cinema room, study area and gym. Prices include all bills, unlimited high-speed internet, 24 hour student assistance, apartment TV's, air-conditioning, heating and access to communal facilities and social events. All student rooms, apartments and the main building are secure and accessible through swipe cards only. Students have their own individual room with ensuite facilities within a fully furnished student apartment.

Travel from airport: Students may use the Navitas English offered airport pick up service or alternatively it is 30 minutes by taxi costing approximately A$70.

Travel to Navitas English Sydney Hyde Park: 30-35 minutes by train.

4-week minimum booking
Bond equal to 4 weeks' rent payable to NSW Fair Trading prior to arrival (refundable less any damage/room cleaning)
o Cancellation Policy apply as per standard NSW residential tenancy agreement

Ume - Potts Point

Ume Potts Point is a guesthouse open to students both local and international as well as backpackers travelling through Sydney. It has recently been refurbished with brand new beds, desks and storage space. It is located in the beautiful suburb of Elizabeth Bay close to Sydney Harbour and is within walking distance to a number of bus stops and train stations within the city. The price of the room is all inclusive of bills, along with internet, each room has storage drawers and built-in wardrobes. The guesthouse features a shared kitchen and TV area with DVD/VCR player as well as 2 separate bathrooms for males and females. There is a stunning rooftop dining area overlooking Sydney with a BBQ and dining area. There is an on-site live-in manager and shared laundry facilities.

Travel from Airport: Students may use the Navitas English offered airport pickup service or alternatively it is 35 minutes by taxi costing approximately A$50. Students can also catch a train from the International Airport to Kings Cross station and it is a short walk from the station.

Travel to Navitas English Sydney Hyde Park: 25 to 30 minute walk or 20 minutes by walk and train

Terms and Conditions:

Bookings are for a minimum of 12 weeks
Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to arrival will incur a penalty of 1 week’s accommodation
Cancellations made 15 days or greater prior to arrival will incur no penalty fee
The first 4 weeks of accommodation are non-refundable once the student has arrived
Communal areas are cleaned weekly
Sheets only are provided on arrival and individual rooms are not serviced.

Lease Break Policy:

Contact Furnished Property in writing to advise of lease break
Pay the applicable A$200 lease break fee
Once you have paid the A$200 lease break fee, this will entitle Furnished Property to re-advertise your property
Leasing agents may access your property to view the premises with prospective tenants between the hours of 9.00am – 6.00pm on a daily basis without any prior notification

If a new tenant is found for the premises and circumstances dictate, Furnished Property reserve the right to notify the existing tenant and the property must be vacated by 10.00am the following day
The tenant will be liable for rent until a new tenant has been found to take over the lease in question

Ume - Hyde Park

Ume Hyde Park is a small scale student residence-style accommodation, offering students single rooms only. The student residence includes shared bathrooms and a small kitchen with space for food storage. The student residence is located in a quiet area close to leafy Hyde Park and lots of bars, restaurants and cafes.

Travel from Airport: Students may use the Navitas English offered airport pickup service or alternatively it is 35 minutes by taxi costing approximately A$50.

Travel to Navitas English Sydney Hyde Park: 5-10 minute walk.

Internet: Free WiFi for personal computers and smart phones (limits apply).

Facilities include:

Free Wi-Fi in bedrooms and all bills (water, electricity and gas) included
Small kitchenette in every bedroom including bar fridge, microwave and basic utensils
Separate male and female shared bathrooms on every floor
Coin-operated washing machines and dryers
